My API key is missing, revoked, or returns 401 authentication. What should I do?

A 401 authentication error usually means the key is missing, malformed, revoked, or used with the wrong environment.

Check Authorization: Bearer ..., remove extra whitespace, and confirm the base URL matches the key. If the key was revoked or lost, create a new one. Keys are only shown once, so a lost key cannot be recovered. Keep API keys server-side.
